“Exploring the word-erful world, of words- within our thoughts..”

A Society Ripe for the Next Great Idea (part 1)

When I think back to the origin of my interests.. in the fact finding and mystery loving part of me, I remember trying to convince my friend that there was something important about Leibniz and Newton developing calculus around the same period. I explained to him that if we (both aspiring physics nerds) were to consider ourselves focused on coming to new theories and putting the work around on what will shape our tomorrow, it would be important to understand this.

I grew on into my own sphere of study as he continued to pursue a PhD studying cosmic rays, but still I knew innately.. where I believed the advance of my contributions would lie, hopefully. I turned to the musically uplifted and spiritually reverent part of myself, in hindsight, in order to begin to apply my scientific sides to the areas of my life that weren’t so rought with that kind of thinking. How often is it that the merging of two unique areas brings about the proliferation of new and inviting material?

I realized that the depressive humors that I engaged later in my university years demanded a more human centered existence, the cries out to my potentials in the downtrodden and tarrently issued areas of the world would not go unnoticed in a future, with technologies that demanded the new insights into physics I was drawn to. There needed to be both, as if I was working on one corner of a painting too long, and gradually I was getting closer to the others, and with due sense had to acknowledge it was a very different style with dynamics almost foreign, to pick up a whole new brush!
